You will first have to unbox your Spirobank Smart Spirometer. You will find two AAA batteries included.
Remove the battery door on the back of the spirometer.
Place the two AAA batteries inside, following the polarity as indicated by the symbols in the battery compartment.
Please note: Both batteries face the same way.
Reattach the battery cover.
Please note: The spirometer does not have on/off buttons. Once the batteries are in, the spirometer is switched on and discoverable through Bluetooth.
Connecting your spirometer to the patientMpower app

Ensure Bluetooth on your smartphone/tablet device is switched on.
Open the patientMpower app and select the More button at the bottom right-hand corner of the screen.
Select Bluetooth Devices.
If you have an Android device you may be asked to share your device's location. You will need to allow this in order to pair your spirometer.
You should then see the spirometer device appear as Spirobank Smart Z00XXXX on iOS devices and as Z00XXXX on Android devices.
Tap on the device name to start pairing. Once the device is paired, a confirmation message will appear.
Your spirometer is now connected to the patientMpower app!
For the best app experience, we recommend keeping your Bluetooth switched on at all times. This will not cause you any extra data usage or network costs.
