🛠️ Removing the Mouthpiece and Turbine
Remove the Mouthpiece:
Grip the mouthpiece where it attaches to the turbine.
Simply pull it off the turbine, it should detach without twisting.
Remove the Turbine:
Rotate the turbine counter-clockwise (anticlockwise) gently, this unscrews it from the device socket.
Once rotated, pull it straight out from the spirometer housing.
If the turbine doesn’t turn easily, press lightly on its base while turning, and avoid using excessive force.
🔄 Installing a New/Replacement Turbine and Mouthpiece
Insert the New Turbine:
Position it so the correct side faces outward (metal mesh toward the breathing path).
Push the turbine straight in to the housing.
Turn the turbine clockwise (right) until it stops and locks in place.
Attach the Mouthpiece:
Align the mouthpiece with the turbine opening.
Press the mouthpiece into the turbine gently until seated securely.
