You will first have to unbox and set up your A&D Blood Pressure Monitor. You will find four AA batteries included in the box.
Remove the battery door on the bottom of the device and insert the four AA batteries, taking care to match the polarity markings (+ and -).
Insert the air connector plug into the air socket firmly as shown below.

Ensure Bluetooth on your smartphone/tablet device is switched on.
Open the patientMpower app and select the More button at the bottom right-hand corner of the screen.
Select Bluetooth Devices.
If you have an Android device you may be asked to share your device's location. You will need to allow this in order to pair your blood pressure monitor.
Press and hold the Start button on your blood pressure monitor for about 4 seconds. The letters PR will appear, meaning the device is now in pairing mode and is discoverable through Bluetooth.
The device will then appear as A&D_UA-651BLE_XXXX on your screen.
Tap on the device name to start pairing. Once the device is paired, a confirmation message will appear.
Your blood pressure monitor is now connected to the patientMpower app!
For the best app experience, we recommend keeping your Bluetooth switched on at all times. This will not cause you any extra data usage or network costs.
