Your height is used in the calculation of your predicted FVC % and predicted FEV1 % so you should add it to your app profile if your clinician has not already done so. By having both predicted FVC and FEV1 available, your clinician can better interpret your readings by comparing your actual readings with the predicted values.
The steps for adding height are slightly different for iOS and Android.
For iOS
To add height:
Open the patientMpower app.
Go to the My Profile section by pressing the icon at the top left corner of the screen.
Click on the height button and select your height using the dials.
Please note: You will have to enter your height in feet and inches.
To save, press the Update button at the top of the screen.
For Android
To add height:
Open the patientMpower app.
Go to the My Profile section by pressing the icon at the top left corner of the screen.
Click on the height button and enter in your height.
Please note: You will have to enter your height in centimetres.
To save, press the Update button at the top of the screen.
