Troubleshooting steps for Bluetooth issues on Huawei devices

The default power saving settings on Huawei phones can interfere with the Bluetooth connection between your devices and your patientMpower app.

If you are experiencing Bluetooth connection issues on your Huawei phone, please follow the steps below:

  1. Open the Settings on your Huawei device.

  2. Click on Apps.

  3. Click on Settings at the bottom of the screen.

  4. Under the Advanced section, click on Special access.

  5. Click on Ignore optimisations.

  6. There will be a dropdown menu at the top of the screen. Click on this and select All apps. Then scroll down to find the patientMpower app. It will probably have "Not allowed" displayed below it.

  7. Click on the patientMpower app and choose the Allow option. Press OK to save.
