Troubleshooting steps for Bluetooth issues on Xiaomi devices

The default power saving settings on Xiaomi phones can interfere with the Bluetooth connection between your devices and your patientMpower app.

This issue can affect Xiaomi devices with Android 10, 11 and 12 in particular. To disable battery optimisation for the patientMpower app, follow the steps below.

  1. Open the Settings on your Xiaomi device.

  2. Select Apps.

  3. Select Manage apps.

  4. Find and select the patientMpower app from the list.

  5. Under Permissions, enable Autostart.

  6. A pop-up message will appear. Allow Autostart by clicking OK.

  7. Then, still under Permissions, select Battery saver.

  8. Select No restrictions.
